Giving back to someone in need this spring can be as simple as getting a haircut just in time for Mother’s Day. Hair Cuttery, the largest family-owned and operated chain of hair salons in the country, is honored to once again team up with The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), the leading voice for domestic violence victims and their advocates, for our spring Share-A-Haircut program. The program will take place May 2nd—3rd at all Hair Cuttery salons.
With the help of NNEDV, Hair Cuttery will donate one free haircut certificate to a survivor of domestic violence in the local community for every haircut purchased at any Hair Cuttery on one of the designated days.
In its 17th year, Share-A-Haircut has benefited over one million people. Originally, the program benefited children in need, but it has grown to help individuals of all ages. Earlier this year, 87,000 free haircut certificates, valued at over $1 million, were donated to men, women and children across the U.S. who were struggling with homelessness.
“Our Share-A-Haircut program and the work of NNEDV are both incredibly impactful causes,” said Dennis Ratner, CEO and founder of Hair Cuttery. “Together, we are aiming to spread awareness about the hardships and injustices of domestic violence, while pampering and comforting those affected.”
